Mr. Sickling, Senior Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, Fixed Income, has over 35 years’ experience managing and trading all aspects of fixed income securities. He is currently responsible for managing fixed income technology and fixed income operations. He is a member of various committees including the RJA Asset Liability Committee, the Anti-Money Laundering Steering Committee, the Fixed Income Capital Commitment committee, the RJA New Product Committee and the RJA Private Product Review Committee. He serves on the boards of three RJF subsidiaries including Raymond James & Associates, Raymond James Capital Services and Raymond James Mortgage Company.

Mr. Sickling has been with Raymond James since 1993 in various roles. He managed taxable trading from 1993 until 2012. In that capacity he was responsible for managing all taxable institutional traders and desk analysts covering all sectors of taxable fixed income including treasuries, agencies, high-grade corporate bonds, high-yield corporate bonds, mortgage-backed securities (MBS) and asset-backed securities (ABS). During that time he also traded government and agency bonds, MBS, and Structured Products including ABS.

From 1989 to 1993 Mr. Sickling was the Manager of Institutional Government, Agency and Corporate Trading for Kemper Securities in Chicago, Illinois. From 1985-1989 he was a government securities trader for Prescott Ball & Turben in Cleveland, Ohio.

Mr. Sickling holds a Bachelor's degree in Administrative Management from Clemson University.
