Kevin Morano

Kevin is a Senior Managing Director in the Fixed Income Capital Markets division and the head of SumRidge Partners, the division’s fixed income electronic market maker, specializing in high yield and investment grade corporate bonds, municipal bonds, institutional preferred securities, and emerging market bonds.  Prior to the acquisition of SumRidge Partners by Raymond James Financial in 2022, Kevin was the Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of SumRidge Partners, LLC since 2010.

Kevin began his career at Morgan Stanley as a Financial Advisor in Princeton, NJ and later moved to New York where he worked on the Fixed Income Sales & Trading Desk. Initially as a salesperson, he later moved up to become the Head of Sales and Marketing for the Global Wealth Management Group’s Capital Markets Division and then on to Co-Head of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s (MSSB) Capital Markets Division while also serving on MSSB management and risk committees.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Villanova University.
