Press Release
January 13, 2009 Nationally-acclaimed artists and Native American jewelers to be featured at prestigious 10th Annual Wildlife and Western Visions Art Show, April 25th and 26th, 2009 St. Petersburg, Fla. ‑ The 10th Annual Wildlife & Western Visions Art Show will take place on April 25 and 26, 2009 at the headquarters of Raymond James Financial in St. Petersburg, Florida. Eighteen nationally-renowned artists will be present for the show, including popular Florida artists, members of the esteemed “Cowboy Artists of America,” and Native American jewelers. Participating artists include: Al Agnew, John Coleman, CA, Grant Hacking, Matthew Hillier, Oreland Joe, Dustin Payne, Vic Payne, Julia Rogers, Charles Rowe, Tom Saubert, John Seerey-Lester, Suzie Seerey-Lester, Ernest C. Simmons, Geoffrey Smith, Trevor Swanson and David Yorke. Each artist has work displayed in noted museums and art collections around the world, and several do not participate in any other art shows east of the Mississippi, so this is a rare opportunity to see them in person. Due to the high caliber of artists who have participated in this show over the years, this prestigious “Wildlife and Western Visions” invitational art show has become nationally-recognized, and was featured in several prominent art magazines as one of the “top art shows for collectors to attend.” It was the only Florida art show to be included in Southwest Art Magazine’s prestigious “2008 Collector’s Preview” which features only the top art shows in the country. Original paintings, bronze sculptures, limited edition prints and fine Native American jewelry in a wide variety of price ranges will be exhibited and available for purchase. Tours of the Tom and Mary James/Raymond James Financial Art Collection will be available both days. Parking and admission to the show are free. This highly anticipated show will be open to the public on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, April 26, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Raymond James Financial Center, Tower IV, 880 Carillon Parkway, St. Petersburg, Florida.
