Brian Alexander joined the Raymond James technology research team in 2000 after earning his MBA from the University of Chicago.  He was named Director of Technology Research in January 2011, Deputy Director of Equity Research in October 2015, and became Director of Equity Research in October 2016.  He manages all aspects of the Raymond James equity research team.  He has twice been recognized in The Wall Street Journal Best on the Street survey for his work.  He has also been recognized in the Thomson Reuters/StarMine Top Analyst survey and the Forbes Blue Chip Analyst survey. He has been named to the Institutional Investor All-American Research team four times, including being named top 10 for responsiveness in 2012.  Mr. Alexander serves on the board of directors of the Equity Dealers of America.  He graduated with highest honors from the University of Florida, with a dual bachelor's and master's degree in accounting.
